Installation Guide (Windows 7, MolWorks 3.1)

  1. Get MolWorks Installer from Web.
    If you have already installed MolWorks 3.1, please uninstall it(Refer to Uninstallation Guide).
    Double-click "install_MolWorks31.exe" to start up installer.
  2. Then, the installer prepares the MolWorks Installation. It takes a little while.
  3. Installer will show start message. Press "Next".
  4. Installer now requires you to agree to the MolWorks license agreement.
    Click "I accept the terms if the License Agreement" and press "Next".
  5. Installer now asks you which directry MolWorks should be installed in.
    By default, the installer will install MolWorks into the "C:\MolWorks_v31" directry.
    If you would like to install to order another directory, enter your favorite directry.
    After selecting the installation directory, press "Next".
  6. Select option about product icons.
  7. If you are installing to Macintosh/Linux machine, the installer will show ‘Please install wine tools for using the 3D plugin’ message.
  8. After checking the installation configuration, press "Install".
  9. Installer now starts to install MolWorks.
  10. MolWorks Installation completed.
  11. You can now start MolWorks from the "Start" menu. If you don’t have the license file for MolWorks3.1, you have to get ‘license.txt’ file from our web site. Please click “http://www2.molworks.com/license31/en/SetMac…” message.
  12. Save ‘license.txt’ file to your MolWorks installation folder(default："C:\MolWorks_v31\ license.txt "). You can use MolWorks program.
